Summer in Austin is synonymous with live music, and this year, the city’s heartbeat gets louder with the return of The Drop-In, a free outdoor concert series hosted by the Long Center for the Performing Arts.

🎤 A Diverse Lineup Showcasing Austin’s Musical Talent

The Drop-In 2025 brings together 21 local artists, each with a unique sound. From the soulful rap of Blakchyl to the Latin funk of Brownout and the indie rock of Parker Woodland, there’s truly something for everyone.

Dates: Every Thursday from May 22 to August 14, 2025 (excluding July 3)

Time: Doors open at 7:00 PM; concerts begin at 8:00 PM

Location: Hartman Concert Lawn at the Long Center, 701 W. Riverside Drive, Austin, TX 78704

Admission: Free

RSVP: Recommended but not required; RSVPs open every Monday for that week’s show

Seating: Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs; seating is first-come, first-served

Refreshments: Enjoy a variety of food trucks and a full bar on-site (note: outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for one sealed water bottle)

Pets: Leashed pets are welcome
