THE AUSTIN TRAIL OF LIGHTS!!

The Austin Trail of Lights is celebrating its 60th anniversary this December, marking six decades of holiday magic in Zilker Park! What started as the “Yule Fest” in 1965, a gift from the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, has blossomed into a massive community celebration that highlights the spirit and unique charm of Austin. Over the years, the Trail has grown into one of the city’s largest and most beloved events, featuring more than 2 million lights, 90 lighted trees, and over 70 holiday displays and tunnels.

This year, the Trail of Lights will run from December 10-23, 2024, with free admission on select dates: December 10-13 and December 16-18. It’s the perfect opportunity to take the family for a festive stroll through the illuminated wonders of Zilker Park, where the holiday spirit shines brightly! Buy your tickets here!
