Dam That Cancer x Float On
What started as a simple conversation at Top Notch over baked goods has turned into one of Float On’s biggest volunteer events. On September 12th, Lake Austin will provide the setting for the 13th annual TYLER’S Dam That Cancer, a 21-mile stand-up paddle from dam to dam. Float On has been a proud supporter of The Flat Water Foundation since 2015, providing support boats for the participants. This event, organized by The Flat Water Foundation, raises money to help cancer patients and their families by providing mental health therapy in the wake of cancer.
This year, we are excited to be donating ten boats and four jet skis to the event. Our team of volunteers will make sure that all participants stay safe on the lake. We will also be stocking the boats with snacks, water, and electrolytes to keep the participants comfortable during their journey.
As a company, Float On is committed to giving back to our community. We believe in supporting those who are striving to make a difference, and the Dam That Cancer event is a perfect example of that. We are honored to be a part of this event and look forward to helping The Flat Water Foundation continue their important work.
