To help you pick your fishing spot, here’s a little bit about fishing on each of the Lakes.
Lake Travis:
Lake Travis is known for its beautiful scenery, large houses and boats, Devil’s Cove, and abundant fish populations. The species you may catch include Largemouth Bass, Guadalupe Bass, Catfish, White Bass, Stripped Bass, Sunfish, and Crappie. Lake Travis is noted for producing good numbers of largemouth bass, and even though most of them tend to be smaller, we’ve been lucky to catch a few big boys! Bass prefer places where they can conceal themselves to dart out and catch their prey, while expending as little energy as possible. Large rocks, points that extend out into the lake, the areas around docks, and bushes in the water are all excellent places to find these hard fighting fish. Our guides will be sure to take you to all the spots that the Bass like to hang out on Travis. Try your luck with us and book a fishing trip today!
Lake Austin:
Want to cast and reel with a view? Lake Austin is perfect for you! Similar to Lake Travis, Lake Austin’s Largemouth bass population is plentiful and 8 to 10-pounders are caught very frequently! Other species on Lake Austin include Catfish and Sunfish. The reservoir also contains bluegill, redbreast, and redear, and has smaller populations of flathead and blue catfish. Enjoy cruising on Lake Austin while our guide takes you to some of the best hidden-gem fishing spots. Pack your fishing gear and hop on a Float On boat to enjoy a great day of fishing with friends or family!
