Float On Boat Rentals is a family-owned business that started from humble beginnings in Austin, Texas. David, our founder, realized that the boat rental industry needed disruption, and in 2013, he started renting boats on Lake Austin. Despite the challenges of running a one-man show, David’s focus on customer service, team culture, and internet marketing helped Float On stand out from the competition.

Over the years, Float On has grown emmensly, expanding its fleet, booking options, and locations. We are extremely proud to have had the opportunity to partner with well-known brands, including Anheuser Busch, Bumble, Clif Bar, Rise Coffee, P. Terry’s, Easy Tiger, Tidal Wines, Oskar Blues, Austin East Ciders, Independence Brewery, Via 313, and The Chive.

One of the highlights of Float On’s success is the establishment of our non-profit organization, Float On CARES. The focus is to support local organizations that make a positive impact in the Austin community. Float On CARES has donated free boat rentals to non-profit organizations hoping to raise money and has participated in countless charity boat parties and community-driven events.

Despite the challenges of growing a business, Float On remains committed to its core values. We prioritize team culture and community involvement and regularly host team outings and community events.
