Float On Charity Cruise

Float On hosted its most successful charity boat party to date last year!

We are so honored by how many of our friends and supporters took time out of their busy weekday schedules to come out and contribute to this cause.

For this years event we decided to support our good friends at Bixby Zane to assist SouthThirst Africa in expanding a school in Uganda. SouthThirst Africa is an organization that goes into villages that they are invited to and help set up clean water for the people there.

As soon as we heard about the need to raise money for their school expansion we knew we wanted to help. We reached out to different people in our community to help us sponsor the adult beverages and raffle items and were amazed by the support and help we received. We have to give a huge THANK YOU to our friends at Tito’s Vodka and Independence Brewery. Without these two amazing sponsors this event would not have been the same! And another THANK YOU to Nick at Lake Austin Parties who donated his time and boat.

We had so many people want to contribute and it was truly amazing to watch this event come together. We had 75 people come out!!! We had to bring out every pontoon in our fleet and even had to ask our friend Nick to donate one of his boats. This is the biggest charity boat party we have had since we started in 2013. Between the general admission tickets and raffle tickets we were able to raise a grand total of $2200!! We are truly grateful that we were able to host this event and contribute to SouthThirst Africa’s school expansion goal.
